Persistence is an action! It is not a passive hanging in there, or just not quitting. It is actively taking the steps to success, regardless of the difficulty.
It is making promises to yourself and knowing once the promise is made, the act is done; there is no question about it, doing what you’ve promised is part of your character.
Persistence is the picture above of my daughter, climbing a steep patch of rubble on her hands and knees, on one of New York’s Adirondack 46 mountain peaks. She has promised herself to be a ‘46er’ and persists through all kinds of challenges; weather, getting up at 3:00 in the morning on Saturday and Sunday, bugs and ticks, exhaustion.
She does it, and I am so proud of her determination and persistence!
I am proud of myself too, because through this Master Key Experience, I too have developed persistence, and know the absolute value of persistence to succeed in accessing the world within.
Four habits create persistence. It takes hard mental work, and I’m doing that by staying true to all of these exercises! It takes knowing your purpose, writing down a plan to put into action and putting a laser focus on it – check, doing that! It takes burning desire and passion, backed with continuous action.
It takes a positive mental attitude; I have been working on this daily using the 7 Laws of the Mind and the 7 Day Mental Diet. And last, it takes an alliance with someone who will encourage you.
I am doing all of these actions, and feel such joy knowing that I too can access that wonderful world within, with unlimited resources to creative a beautiful world that benefits not only me, but also others!
I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy!
